Our cooking studio at Downtown Gallery OUE is hosting an array of exciting cooking and baking classes this month for those on the look out for fresh and unique activities to add to their February itinerary. Our cooking instructors have also scheduled special Valentines day themed cooking classes for two, with those couples looking for an unconventional approach to their date!
Join internationally-renowned Chef Loretta Liu as she hosts two very special classes on 14th February – a Macaron Baking class and a French themed Valentine’s day cooking class.
Valentine’s Day Macaron Class — 10am to 12pm
French Romantic Valentine’s Day Cooking Class — 6pm – 9pm
International award-winning & Michelin-trained Chef Loretta Liu grew up in multicultural Singapore and was exposed to many different foods and flavours from a young age. Her love for fine food propelled her into the kitchens of the Raffles Hotel, where she was schooled in classical French cooking by the likes of Alain Ducasse. Moving to the UK, she became a chef and cookery school teacher at 2 Michelin Starred Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons. She is also the author of the bestsellers ‘On Macarons’ and ‘Modern Dim Sum’.
